As a member of the Pteridine Society, I had the pleasure of contributing to this year’s Winter Workshop in Innsbruck. It was an incredible event with a wide range of topics – from neopterin and redox biology to tryptophan metabolism, nitric oxide signaling, and immunobiochemistry.

A big thank you to Johanna Gostner and Simone Moser, who led the organization and made everything run smoothly. Most of the work and success is thanks to their effort.

It was great to reconnect with colleagues, share ideas, and hear from researchers working across basic and clinical sciences. The pteridine field is broad – and that’s what makes these workshops so valuable.
